Aims:

The SEEKIT Scottish Centre for Enabling Technologies (SCET) is a new Scottish Government funded project led by the University of the West of Scotland in collaboration with Glasgow University and Glasgow School Art. The aim of this Centre is to facilitate co-operation in R&D and knowledge transfer in the area of enabling technologies for content and knowledge management between the partner Universities' multi-disciplinary science base and companies (particularly Scottish SMEs in the Creative Industries sector). A range of support mechanisms to help companies improve their innovation, competitiveness and productivity forms part of this project including a match-funded package of support, up to a maximum value of £5,000, to undertake feasibility studies/proof-of-concept work for the companies.
